    PH & SWG Automation

Thanks for the info! Just took a look at the intellichem set up pic on your link. Nice job, that looks pretty complex and way over my head to wire up lol I’m fine with no automation and just sticking to manual testing with my Taylor kit. I’m still curious what else I may need to buy aside from...

    PH & SWG Automation

Ya, I would still be testing weekly to monitor and make adjustments to the SWG and acid dispenser. Thanks for the info on your avg output. I’d like to know if I can just purchase the SWG and sync it up to run when my VS pump runs without any additional controller or automation setup? Also...

    PH & SWG Automation

Thanks for the input! Ya, I would be fine with a PH control system that is similar to a SWG, where it is just a dial/estimate based off usage as opposed to taking readings. Guess I don’t need it to be truly automated, just so that they are synced up to one timer/controller… basically just...

    PH & SWG Automation

Hey Everyone, *Pics at bottom for reference* Looking to eliminate having to constantly add PH and chlorine… because well, I’m lazy and tired of the weekly chemical additions 🙃 Ultimately I’d like to automate and tie in my Hayward VS pump, a SWG, and a PH control system. I have an older style...

    Texas Pool - Winter Care?

Hi, First off, I’ve learned how to maintain my pool explicitly through TFP. I just became a pool owner earlier this year and have a crystal clear pool now. So thanks! Seeing that I’m in my first year of owning a pool, I’m curious what I need to do throughout the off season when it’s too cold...

SLAM process - Added 4.4 gallons of 6% bleach... FC barely increased??

Pic quality isn’t very good, but there is some small organics that I couldn’t get with the skimmer. Based on the pic, curious if even a small amount of organics could be consuming that much chlorine? Thanks for the input!

SLAM process - Added 4.4 gallons of 6% bleach... FC barely increased??

Just checked... 20119. Looks like that would be Jan. 19th 2020, and the bleach likely lost most of its potency. Didn’t even think to check that. Now to find a reliable bleach source 👀. Thanks for the help

SLAM process - Added 4.4 gallons of 6% bleach... FC barely increased??

Hi all, First post here. Been lurking around and reading as much as I can to figure out how to maintain a crystal clear pool on my own. So I've tested the water chemistry a few times with the K-2006 FAS-DPD test. Here are my most recent results: FC: 0.4 CC: 1.2 PH: 7.6 TA: 55 CH: 300 CYA: 55...
