You really need to give the particulars about your pool. Size, filter, sanitizer, etc. Unless you have a giant pool you can get a cheaper pump. Jacuzzi VSP or BLACK+DECKER VSP has some good feedback on TFP.

What do you hope to accomplish? What is a JVA? I bought a Jacuzzi pump for our 37500-gallon pool, which is working great. I set the schedule at the pump. It has 8 schedules you can set. There are two smaller and cheaper ones that should run your pool just fine.

Does it have a sunset timer for zip codes? I have some timers that adjust to turn off at sunset automatically. I am looking for options to control the outside lights.

Dosing Pump for Aquarium Lab Analytical or BRS 2 Part Doser are two small pumps that might work for you. I have no experience with either one. The BRS 2 Part Doser seems to be quite popular with the aquarium crowd. I found out about that in a recent thread here. What WiFi plug do you plan to use?

Way overkill. I have a couple of used ones and the programming seems complicated. I have done programming but reading the manual seemed that way. I like the RolaChem, just turn the dial and change the dose.

It would be close but you could get a coupler in there and a new union, I would do that first and then figure out the plumbing from the filter to the chlorinator. You could get a little more space by using 45s in the verticle from the filter.

HDPE! I am not very knowledgeable about pool building. I have never heard of HDPE piping. It seems like it would be hard to join. The Black+Decker pumps are relatively inexpensive and have good reviews on Amazon.
