I changed all the pool connections to 1 1/2" PVC and added a Hayward skimmer. I'm having a loss finding the right adapter to connect to the pump.

This part will arrive sometime next week: Amazon.com: Waterway Plastics 806105081247 1.5 Pump Union Assembly : Patio, Lawn & Garden Fingers crossed it works. If it doesn't, I will have to convert back to the Bestway 1 1/2" flexible tubing after making the 25' run with 2" PVC.

Thanks for your help, hopefully at least the additional photos will help someone who's done this understand what I'm trying to do (while using the wrong terminology, I suspect!). I believe that Intex and Bestway have the same connections, so hopefully, someone has done the same thing with Intex.

Yes, so that adapter works perfectly to attach to standard plumbing on the output of the Hayward filter. I'm trying to make the opposite connection, connect standard hard plumbing to the inlet and outlet of the Bestway pump/filter.

Thanks, I have this adapter. Bestway must use the same plumbing, because I am using it to connect the Bestway flexible piping to the 1 1/2" hard piping I"ve already installed. I need the other side of the connection to replace the included bestway pipe.
