Thanks everyone. I retested and the CYA is between 90 and 80 so I was not wrong. The advice is so helpful. I obviously added too much stabilizer...

The water is very cloudy. I must have tested the CYA wrong because the pool is 95% newly filled. I have only added bleach and 4 lb stabilizer.

Trying to get my pool up and going: FC 1.0 CC .4 PH 7.8 TA 170 CH 180 CYA 90 I think the pool math is telling me to add bleach and muriatic acid. Does this sound correct? I was assuming I would have to add more stabilizer. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

I am trying to figure out how much stabilizer to add and it is telling me to add 138 ounces. Am I missing something?

Just filled our pool. The following our my results: FC 0 PH 8.0 TA 170 ppm I am unable to test the CYA because I am out of that agent and can not get it in the mail until Wednesday. Advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated!

Results are: FC - 0 PH - 8+ (5 drops so assuming I add the recommended 1.43 qt muriatic acid) TA - 130 ppm CH - 100 ppm CYA - dot never disappeared so I assume <30 ppm CC - Combined Chlorine 0 Water temp 75 Using Taylor 2006 kit Would appreciate advice. Thank you!
