Need diagnosis - SLAM not helping

Thank you everybody for advice! Close to back in business. Drained to 95%, was initially going to do 70%, but water was very dirty and adjusted till it was clear enough. Refill took about 30 hours. Now waiting for Chlorine to mix in to do the readings.

I think I will shoot for CYA 30 with 70% drain. I am currently scrub everything towards the sump suction so that pool filter has easier time later.

Correct, 5ml with 3 drops from pink to clear. I can confirm it's very dirty (lot of trees in the yard for every season to drop something in the pool). I am in process of draining. Sump pump out at 8-9gpm and hose exchange in at 5gpm. Any suggestions on how far to drain when it's this dirty?

Yes I did, the concentration is so high that I have to do with 5ml multiplier. I did Chlorine test so many times that I was giving up after 20, now I finally got it go colorless at 30.

Did #8 part of the test, I can still slightly see the dot at 40. Now I am confused, could the pool water having suspended stuff make this test error prone?

Test Results 04/16 12PM FC - 30 (didn't add chlorine after first day) CC - 3 CYA - 100 (dot disappears right at 100) TA - 75 Water Temp - 68F Evidently CYA is way higher than I expected, last time it was this high was 3 years back when I had to drain the pool half way. I assume this is what I...

Updated the signature. The push/pull is stuck. I am ordering the multi point valve now. I will do the full test and post the results here today.

When adding drops into the tube I stop after going over 20. As I was doing 3-4 tests per day I am trying not run out chemicals. I will test CYA today at noon. Pool is looking little less green today. Pressure was building up quick, but if I turn it off for 15-20 and ran it again it was fine. I...

I do have the proper recommended test kit which is what I am using. I just can't believe FC is staying same after 24 hours with the pool still green.

Tested it again today evening, FC level still shows around 20, didn't add any since yesterday. Ph 7. Sun was down to check CYA correctly. I am going to check pool store for their readings to make sure my test chemicals are not messed up and showing me wrong values.

I tested FC, I don’t see overshooting FC for SLAM being a problem. My CYA assumptions have been accurate before because I am the only one who adds it to this pool.

As you are also in DFW is there any specific precaution you recommend for draining? How much should I drain? As it’s gonna take along time to fill anything about DFW weather that I need to be concerned about? Thank you
