Day 1 four times/day, Day 2 three times/day, now twice a day. I will try the 10 ml/one scoop test this morning. I have been using 25 ml and 0.2 ppm/drop for more precise CC results.

I failed OCLT and CC was 5.5. to 6.0. So I reduced pH to about 7.2 and started a SLAM on 7/4. Since then my FC tests have varied, but increased to 13.8 this morning (Day 4). My CC tests decreased to 0.6 on Day 2 and have not gone any lower (?). For this 4 day SLAM period I have added a total...

After OCLT the FC dropped by 2.5 ppm to 2.0 and CC = 5.5, CYA = 45 The pH is 7.6. What is the best method for me to reduce pH to 7.2 for a SLAM?

Thank you Texas Splash! Good chance theres post-winter algae. I'll try the OCLT tonight. My a.m. tests today are: FC 4.5, CC 5.5, pH=7.6, TA 150, CH 425 and CYA 40. Still wondering if high TA is a factor.

I opened my pool 1 week ago and I have been testing (K-2006C) twice a day. I have been using the Pool Math app to record my test readings and get recommendations for treatment. I added granular conditioner to raise CYA from +/-0 to 40-45 and I have been adding liquid chlorine as needed a.m. and...
