    OK guys so my new Calimar 1.5 Hp VS pump was delivered today. I jumped in and got the new pump installed. I am amazed at how quiet this thing is and is is great that it is fan cooled.     Hey thanks for the advice...I did check them out..looks like a pretty nice pump. I purchased the 1.5 HP model. It looks like a really nice pump. It had great reviews and I think it will work good with my set up. saved me a couple hundred $ too........ Thanks!!!

    I have a Hayward sand filter Model # S210T that says the GPM is 44 and holds 200 LBS of sand No other waterfalls, bubblers or anything like that

    Yes sir it is a separate GFCI outlet that my electrician put in when he wired the hot tub. It has a separate GFCI breaker/ disconnect for the tub and a GFCI receptacle for the salt cell. it is wired per NC electrical code.

    Ok got the new heater today and installed it tonight...Good news. Everything is back up and running with no leaks. Salt level good and Saltron mini producing chlorine and heater light is on and heating water. I got really lucky because I am amazed at how much damage the bad water chemistry did...
