I'm going to keep dropping 5% every 15 minutes until I get to 40% speed and see how it reacts and report back When I reach 40% I'll take a photo and show vs 90%

I'm curious, I upgraded my pool equipment from a single speed to a VS (my signature is up to date) and added a salt system. I was under the impression that the point of a VS pump was to run as low as possible speed wise? With a freshly cleaned filter and pump at 90% speed I have 99.9 no bubbles...

It came with unions but the jandy unions work with the Intelliflo. I'll lube the inlet, outlet and basket rings and I should be good to go

I do not have the screen, the pump has an antenna. Is it worth it to get the screen?

I have Lucas White Lithium Grease NLGI #2 multi-purpose all weather

Edit - grease around the holes that go into the blue part of the cartridges themselves

On a pentair 520 cartridge filter, is it a good idea to put grease on the top black manifold under the lid?

43K non salt pool, CYA is at 108. % to drain to get to acceptable range?

I will be eliminating my D.E filter for a cartridge filter, Because that means re-doing plumbing I was thinking about adding a salt cell. Since the pandemic chlorine has been sold out 95% of the time so that sucks but at the same time it would be nice to have a more or less "maintenance free"...
