I am an Architect and feel my plaster installer did something wrong.
I used his more expensive hydrazzo catalina blue. The finish is molting and looks terrible. This started to show with a horizontal crooked line across the deep end about 18 inches below the surface. He has tried losts of chemical solutions but nothing effects the finish. He is blaming it on my city water. This was a remodel the removed 100% of the plaster. atttached you will see what I mean. above the line it is smooth, below its sandpaper.
