Owner Build NW Las Vegas. ... Quartz install delayed again...

I hear what you’re saying. Honestly, if this was the middle of spring or summer and temps were 90+ then I would be real sad. We‘ve had some nice days in the upper 50s or low 60s not pool weather, yet. However, I wanted to use the spa with these chilly evenings. I have no choice but to wait...

Unfortunately, our scheduled quartz pool finish install was postponed due to winds here in Las Vegas. This is the second straight Saturday my project was pushed back. Last Saturday, Feb 20th, wasn’t windy, however, jobs during that week were delayed and forced everything back. This week has...

Help choosing pebblesheen color in Las Vegas

Have you visited the SCP Distributor showroom? I believe there is a location off Cheyenne. I do not have any experience in longevity for the selected color fading or not.

    New Pool build in SoCal

Your pool turned out beautiful. I like the hardscape, turf and the fact you have the pool isolated for safety. And absolutely love the drone photo. Well done!

    Steel IG pool 20 x 40

I can not add any answers to your questions, other than for you to include as much information regarding what you have ordered and model numbers. There are a lot of TFP members in the industry that can answer construction questions as long as they know what you're working with. How thick is...

What's interesting about the Glacier Chiller I had installed, is that not a single one of the sub contractors that saw it felt I'd need it. Especially, the plumbers who plumbed it in. I responded with I did not want to get into water that was 90+ degrees. I wasn't thinking that covering the...

@JenniferMarie90 an auto-cover can't hurt. Eventually the sun will deteriorate the cover but that should be a few years, at least. It will also stop evaporation rates when the cover is closed. It can limit SWG percentage when closed because there will be no UV burning off the generated...

Well, after a snow day this past Tuesday. The deck crew came back out to finish the sunken pavilion. What do you think? We used Artistic Pavers and turf around the pool instead of mastic. We had something called Sierra Blend for the sunken pavilion. On to the Las Vegas City pre-plaster...

Austin BYOP Build In Progress - 9/23 Construction Start

For my build, I used my excavation contractor. You might try them or any of their competitors. They'll have skip loaders and dump trucks to all of the debris.

Well... it snowed most of the night. I picked up my phone to text the decking contractor that you'll have to wait for tomorrow to see if the weather clears. There is too much snow to work in... Las Vegas?

@BUT ITS A DRY HEAT No, I subbed the paver install job out. They cut 6” strips out of a 30’ x 15’ turf. So, theoretically, they could get 60 cut strips 6” x 15’ long. The paver squares are predominantly 48” x 48”. I/we like the look, too. @Nikilyn Yes, I/we chose the Shellock Paver...

@mknauss Yes, I had the pool plumbers trench and add pvc for my manual fill line all the way over to my garage, 175'. Then I had another plumber, connect my softwater system through the garage wall and connect it up to the manual fill line.
