    Green pool not clearing

What is also good for your sanity, is to take a picture of the pool. Same spot or area so that you can really compare the progress. Say the stairs, that way you might not see the bottom step one day but the next you day you can. However if you’re only looking at the pool overall you don’t...

A little help please.... With 23K gallon inground pebble tech pool

It is always best to pour the chlorine in front of the returns. That way the pool return’s flow will disperse the chlorine out into the pool. You can always brush the area afterwards.

About to empty and refill my pool... (Las Vegas)

Let’s say the pucks are 8 oz each. Using effects of adding in Pool Math, for 9k gal pool it would take 8 pucks to equal 30 ppm CYA. How long would 8 pucks take to dissolve? Days? Dry stabilizer added via the sock method will add 30 ppm within hours.

It’s official, for the first time ever my pool temperature has reached….

If we had a small eco system of wildlife, especially snakes, in our backyard, my wife would demand we put the house for sale. Honestly, I am a city slicker and snakes are my kryptonite.

Testing Aqua Pure Salt Cell (Is it cooked)

Hey j190Phil, Your pool math logs haven’t been updated since last season. If you’re generating FC and it’s not holding, what have you tested your CYA ppm to be? If CYA is low, uv can be burning up your FC as fast as you’re generating. Just a thought, in fact, post up a full set of your test...

About to empty and refill my pool... (Las Vegas)

Living here in Las Vegas myself, our house was plumbed for a whole house water softener by the builder. So we installed one and then had the pool fill line connected to it. If your house is also plumbed but never had a whole house water softener installed it is a sound investment. Adding the...

Walmart Supercenter nearby on Van Buren, Riverside, CA is only $5.67 a gallon. Although I went to public school, 4 x $5.67 is less expensive the $32.
