Good morning, I replaced the seal around the lid a few weeks ago. When it warms up a bit I will take it off and give that area a good inspection, hopefully no cracks or anything. Thanks for the info on the pump regarding burning up..that was my main concern.

So when I took off the lid on the filter housing to replace the gasket there was no water in the filter housing and of course hardly any water in the pump. After replacing with new seal still does the same thing, squirting water only out of one side of the pump cover after I get the pump primed...

I am going to order a new seal for the filter housing cover and try that. If you look at the picture of the top of the pump cover, the water always seems to spurt out at about the 7 o’clock position.

Installed a new pump lid about two years ago because the old one was yellowing. Have since replaced and lubed the ring twice the most recent a couple days ago. I notice that when the pump is running there is no water leaking out, but once it shuts off some water squirts out the top for a second...
