I definitely lose some cya and this right here is why ..when it rains that basin fills and it overflows...or if I turn my valves a certain way to not circulate the basin water back into the pool it can overflow. It is very difficult to keep that basin at a good level, its always too low or too high.

Any other answers as to where my salt is going? My first year of ownership I hardly had to add any salt so this is very weird

Ran water test this morning after adding a gallon of Acid yesterday TA 60 PH only down to 7.5, was expecting PH to be even lower

its been a lot but not sure if you should watered my salt down that much. I have put in 140 pounds of salt since end of Nov.

Ran some tests today . PH back up to 8.0 and TA at 90. Salt test read 2400....no idea where all the salt is going. I know we had a lot of rain in the Houston area but Dang.

I redid mine yesterday, took my time and cleaned everything well....added some lube and it appears all of my leaks are gone as well. Thankfully

Thank you. I definitely dont think I have a leak, I know when it rains it will overflow. Also my fill line water comes off my water softner so that definitely lowers my CH overtime as well. I used to always fight high CH at my old house and here I fight low because of the fill water.

I have an autofill and technically an overflow....I have a infinity edge pool that has a basin that will fill up and overflow out into the grass. I will shoot at getting it up to 3000 lbs....I can put in some LC too although not really worried about it with water temps in the 50s

So I have a salt test, I just did it tonight. It read 2400 so its still low, not sure why. Over the past month according to my app, I have dumped approx half a bag of salt so call that 20pds and now 3 40 pd bags of salt. I will take a new reading tomorrow but dang I dont understand the salt...

Gonna get down to low 20s for sure. I will have the pool running 24/7

Its the low salt light on it and unit is just a year and a half old. I will test it myself tonight. Is my CYA an issue? Also my pool overflows with rain so I turn water and my refill water comes after my water softner too.

I am in this same boat, going to take apart and put back together today using these techniques. also my bottom plug is leaking too, My unit is only a year and a half old. Assuming there is some dirt in there somewhere so will clean and put back. Go freezing weather coming in next week so need...
