Hello all :) so technically mine doesn't belong in Under Construction bc it's not a new pool, just a resurfacing. But I'm really proud of all the research I did to save our young family money (pool remodel was NOT in the budget but old fiberglass was starting to fail). I researched here and everywhere to subcontract the job and order my own tile bc I didn't want all the plain options offered. I saved us $2k on the PB quotes. Here are the pictures. We just finished filling last night so I will update pictures as the water colour changes. Thank you TFP for SO much help and guidance :)

Finest finish blends French grey with blue beads and some kind of sparkle is in

Aaaaaand how it looks this morning. I know the green is to be expected but I'm really pleased with the pebble, I have barely any mottling at all. Now for the start up, and constant brushing, right?!

WOW! Gorgeous all around....
Let me understand better though.... this was a plaster pool with fiberglass walls? or a fiberglass pool initially??
I love your choice of tile, and love how you saved money sourcing the work out yourself. Good job! :goodjob:

A concrete pool with fiberglass walls. Shasta pools built our whole neighbourhood that way, and apparently we were the lucky ones to get 20+yrs out of it.

Well, its a gorgeous pool now for sure! I really really like it. It looks calm and the tile fresh.

Can you tell us how much you spent on this?

The water color will stabilize over a few days. I think it will be a more teal color?

I'm hoping it's NOT too teal, the plaster was a very light grey so we *should* achieve light/medium blue.

I spent $5200 total. That includes Spanish tile shipped from FL to AZ.

Bummer, I can't upload my best pictures bc they're too big for this AMAAAAAZING!!!!!Kwebsite (help there anyone?)

If you're posting from a phone or tablet, you need an app that will let you resize pics to 800 x 600. For example, I resize my pics using Photo & Picture Resizer on my Kindle Fire tablet.

Just resize, save, and post! And your pool looks AMAAAAAZING!!!!
