YoLink Smart Relay

Good Morning! Has anyone used a Yolink Smart Relay replace your pump timer? I haven’t started researching how one might set that up considering this is not 240V, however I’m sure there is a way to have a series of relays that would allow for this to be the Master relay.

Would be great if this would work as I use YoLink to automate anything from heat lamps to pool lights. Thanks!

YoLink Relay, YoLink 1/4 Mile Super Long Range Smart Relay Compatible with Alexa, Google, and IFTTT, Max. 5 amps - YoLink Hub Required https://a.co/d/3EDnZ5S

Those relays have a 5A max rating. Most VSP have a rating of about 50% more.

I haven't done it personally, but you need to wire in some type of contactor/relay capable of handling the pump's max amperage between the relay and the pump. The dry contacts on the low voltage relay simply opens and closes the contactor wired inline to the pump. Search TFP for 240 volt contactor.

I have the Hayward W3SP2610X15 Super Pump with a simple Intermatic T100 manual timer switch.
T101 or T104? If wired for 120V (a T101) your pump can draw over 18 amps. If wired for 240V (a T104) it can draw over 9. Either of those Intermatics are rated for 40A. Use the YoLink directly and at the very least it will die a quick death. Could cause a fire. Best thing you could do is get a VSP with a built-in control, which they all have.
