Hello! Don't laugh. I've had our pool for 9 years and take care of it fine during the season but always pay to have it opened and closed. Well, the guys closed it yesterday and they left the port on my Hayward sand filter in the filter position and not the winter position. Can I move it to winter myself without messing up all that they did? I just imagine turning the port messing things up and really don't want to go wrong since it gets super cold here and I am wondering if doing that will force more water into the pipes. Thanks for any help!!

Move it to the winterize position and you should be fine assuming they winterized everything else correctly...
