Finally, we have picked out a wonderful tile, NPT Fusion FS-Pinwheel mosaic tile.
The tile will be used as an accent 3" wide by 6" high in the waterline followed
by two 6" x 6" porcelain tiles. We also plan to use the tile in the raised wall with
a 3 foot sheer waterfall.
Now for our concerns,
Today I had a tile guy who has been in the business since 1976 tell me the tile
will not last in the SWG pool. Our local NPT dealer is saying, it should not be a
problem. I called two other NPT stores, one said, no problem. The other said
anything is possible, but the older quartzite NPT tiles have not been problematic
with salt water.
Is there anyone here who has had a personal experience with their natural stone
or quartzite tiles failing with a SWG pool?
Any and all input is greatly appreciated.
