No water softner for the house. It originally a softner but was removed. Here in Santa Clarita they have banned them as they say the softners are compromiseing the water table.

I'm going to test fill water Calcium level and see where those numbers are at. Other than that what can I do about the white flakes that are settled on the bottom of the jaquzzi? Is the white flakes a result of the Cya numbers?And do I need to adjust any of my other levels? Thanks!
You never posted the fill water numbers. Flakes are not cya related. Likely scaling from the SWG due to high CH if you do not keep your pH down.
