Are we looking for when the color just changes or when the blue can't get anymore blue? It seems to be about 3-4 drops from when it just changes until it won't change anymore. My water is pretty hard out here. I'm trying to determine if it's 500 or 600. Also when it first changes I have those little tiny drops floating, I tried the metals present advice from Taylor. Doesn't make a difference.

On ALL the drops based tests you continue count and add drops until the last drop you put in results in NO FURTHER color change.
Subtract that last drop and the result is the end of the test.
