Just ordered one and studying manual for installation....diagrams on page 14. Fig 1 shows flow switch in front of the cell but Fig 2 and 3 show the flow switch behind the cell. Fig 4 says NOT to put it in front of the cell. So which is it? We do not have a spa so only the pool return if that makes any difference. Thanks.

Figure 4's problem is the flow switch is before a valve that can have water pass through the flow switch and not the cell.
So the issue isn't whether the flow switch is positioned in front of or behind the cell? It can be in either position as in Fig 1-3 as long as I don't do Fig 4? Right? (We only have a pool return so can't make that mistake.)

Flow switch can be before or after the cell as long as it is always in the same water flow as the cell.
