Where to cut piping to repair this leak?

Hi everyone,

I have a leak as you can see in the photo below; right where the pump connects to the pipe that feeds the filter. For me to unscrew that and repair, I'm going to need to cut into the pipe somewhere. Which area should I cut into to be efficient? Photos are attached. Thanks in advance for your expertise and time!

Yes.

You can also undo the filter union or the pump suction union or all three.

Got it! Filter isn't drained yet. But I will do that firstly. Appreciate you fast responses here!!

Those unions look like this...

They have two O-Rings.. One between the body of the pump and the union where it screws into the pump..

And, another O-Ring between the two halves of the Union...
