sorry to all the people that don't live in Florida, but for us chlorine is cheap cheap cheap. most pool stores sell 10.5% in a 2.5 gallon jug that runs $3-4 each. its freshly made in store and ready to go. no bleach for us. its just too cheap to up (i.e. $1.20 to $1.60 per gallon of 10.5%). call around the Leslies or Pinch a Penny and see how much they are charging. also, most have a buy 10 refills get one free, further reducing the price. the also often run two for $6 coupons as well.

sorry. missed some punctuation/grammar. meant to say its fresh made that you buy in the store. it hasn't been sitting around to degrade. I asked how often they have the container filled at the one I go to and the manager said twice a week.
