What's your current pool temp?

Actually, I'm using broken pallets and whatever wood I'm given for free. I live in the small town noted under my avatar.

I haven't had to burn at all this last week, the sun and hot weather has warmed the pool to 88.

Today is the first real summer weather. 82* outside. 73% humidity. Real feel 89*.
Figures it's the last day of August.

74 degrees up from 72 the other day. Closing in a few weeks and probably will not get in unless we have one heck of a heat wave to raise that temperature.

Not sure what the pool is like, wasn't home much today. There was a terrible storm yesterday evening, we lost power until this morning. It nearly blew the ladder out of the pool! The
LAdder had been in the middle of the wooden platform. had a lot of tree debris throughout the yard.

Been averaging 82 in the late morning to 87 in the evening. Only gets full sun for 6 hours each day.

83 here, with heater going. I should have it up to 85, we'll see how much longer I can keep it swimable.

Yes, I was pleased when I checked this morning and the water had stayed at 76. But it rained and air temp fell to the lower 60's, so it didn't matter. How sad that I was excited about 76, lol. (Got in yesterday when it was 77, it only fell 1 degree overnight)

This has been a really cool summer. For the last two years my water temps have stayed above 84 all summer. This year I am only getting MAYBE 3 days a week with the temps above 80. My wife wont even get in the pool til it gets to 84. I have an Intex ABG but if things dont change I am going to have to spend more on a Propane pool heater then I have spent on my entire setup so far.
Hopefully Global warming (or at least normal temps) for my desert region return next year.

With overnight temps falling to the mid 50's, I've had to start covering the pool. Pain in the behind, but kept the water from dropping below 80. Fire going this morning, should bring it back fairly quickly.
