What's your current pool temp?

In SC, I am seeing 76/78 temp in my pool. I can get up to my needs on the ladder
and then I am done. Some kids are getting in pools around here. I am thinking
that they must have way thicker skin than me.


20 x 48 Intex Ultra Frame - sand filter w/ salt water generator - deck built - working on bigger deck later.

82 today in north al. Still a bit chilly, need 85 for complete comfort. It is in the high 80s this next week and the pool gets full sun all day so should be there by next weekend.

60° water all weekend. Guess it's time to close up again soon, LOL.

Extended weather on Saturday said 72° as the highest through next weekend. On Sunday it changed to 88 on Thursday and Friday and 90 on Saturday and Sunday next weekend . Today it is back to the low 80's for the weekend. Why do I even bother to look at it?

Water right now is 57. Our plumber installed the gas line to the heater today, so it'll be higher shortly. (Our backyard has so many trees surrounding, the pool doesn't get much sun)

used the heater to heat the pool for the first time this weekend. Took about 6 hours to hit 85-86 degrees... took about 45 minutes per degree on our 23K pool..

84 yesterday afternoon with no solar. Keeps climbing. With the 12 hours of sun our pool gets we will have to be putting ice in there before Independence Day. Air Temps are now at a steady day time 85-90 and 60-65 at night.

80 here in west tn. Just got it installed in march and the kids got in very briefly at 56 degrees.

87 today. Air temp was in low 90s today. Hottest day of the year so far this year.

I am at 70 here in the Chicagoland area. Hoping for some warm weather soon as we do not have a heater for our pool.
