Was 83 degrees this morning. Got a new pool pump motor installed and turned on the heater. Now it is 86 and climbing [emoji2]
We finally got back to 88 with solar and the heat pump going. It was 67 most of the night last night. Brrrrrrrr

I know it! Well, I'm not quitting, I'll keep forcing the heat into the pool one way or another. 
I might be able to close next week at the rate it's going here! The water 66 this afternoon. air temperature was barely in the 50's, so it will likely drop even more tonight.

72 degrees. Just turned on the heater as I'm hosting a BBQ and pool party. It will probably be too cold to swim thanks to Harvey. I'm pitching a mini fit because I wanted to show off my remodeled pool.
It has been in 60s all week, not a hint of the sun, Harvey is passing by now. Sunday is supposed to be 73 and Monday hopefully 85plus. I will crank up heater a little to 84 and get a few days of pool time. Looks like summer is over.
88 this morning, up to 91 this afternoon, solar is set to 89 so the FL sun and heat is bring it up just a tad by late afternoon.

You can set solar systems to run to/at a set temp. I used to set my father's up above 100.. like a big hot tub. Used to drive them nuts, LOL

88 degrees here in Houston! Hurricane Harvey had dropped it to 75 but it's well on its way back up.
What Maddie said, if I wanted my pool could be 95 easy in the summer but to me about 90 is perfect, the FL heat and sun sometimes pushes it a bit higher
currently 88 solar kicks on in about 15 min
yes, the equipment is in my sig, I set the temp on my pentair solartouch controller (which can also be used for cooling at night). My pool cools overnight to generally 86-87 the solar kicks on and raises it to 89 usually before noon, then turns off and if's it's sunny and 90+ my pool might raise 1-2 degrees by late afternoon.
Cool temps in STL for the past month. Pool temp using solar cover on overnight all week is 79 this morning. Todays high is supposed to be 92, hoping to break 80 today
