Checked mine yesterday. Just with the warm temps we have had the last couple of days, my water temp was at 73 deg. F. I tested the water by throwing my boy in. He stayed in so I figured what the heck. An hour later, we were done.

With the nice hot days we have been having the last couple of days here in San Diego, we had a blast yesterday in 84 degree water.
I am in the West Burbs of Chicago and the temp in my pool is 78 degrees. My gas bill is going to be murder.
Pool temp went down to 60 after last weeks lack of sun here in NJ. Today the temp was back to 66 and after today...maybe 70's. Warm enough for the kids. I may turn the heat on for this weekend.

58 when opened on Apr 23, 65 now but had a lot of cold days and some nights to close to freezing. Hope to be swimmable by the long weekend.
94 degrees, we have had about 3 good days of swimming here. I love my pool heater.
66 and climbing. Nice thing about the small pool is that if it's warm out it warms up pretty quick.
82s same everday here all year round. i've never heard of a swim season,!!!! till i got to TFP .Great site keep up the good work LUV IT. I live in Phuket {pronouced poo ket /not- well u know what i mean} come on over for a beer an barbie

Never too Cold to SWIM..
Yesterday (May 31) was our first swin day here in Arizona.
Water temp was between 77 and 81 as one was a thermonitor and the other was my electronic SWG temp.
All in all it was a great day!

72. But I live here in ND. Really been a cold spring as we got snow mid May 
Now the weather is finally in uper 70s and my solar blanket is working awesome. I hope in the next day or two it will be around 75 and then I will jump in depending on the weather.

84...no heater/solar, just a dark pool surface, I think that's helped us a lot...it might hurt us by August, that remains to be seen.
At least we can run the fountain at night to help cool the water.
Going to jump in the pool now, just got a ice cold 6-pack!

Yes I believe the darker surface will attract and hold the heal earlier.
So when you hit your hot spell we will see what happens.

mine's been at 90 for a week now... running the deck jets daily trying to keep it from climbing (or at least slow it down)... been swimming for 3-4 weeks now.

Between 74 - 78 for the last week. Have been swimming 5 or 6 times already.
When the night cools of the water too much, I'm still on my pool float.
