What's a good crazy glue for a vacuum plate

Unfortunately, I broke my plate and have had a hard time replacing it. Maybe I should try some crazy glue. What would be a good choice? I've had a look around here, but a lot of that talk about glue is for PVC.
BTW, I think crazy glue is a brand name, so when I talk about it here, I just mean whatever'll get the job done and done as well as crazy glue outside the pool.

What is the part number on the skimmer lid and skimmer basket?

If it is not structural to the filter or skimmer I would try Waterweld : J-B Weld 2 oz. Waterweld Epoxy 8277 - The Home Depot

I would also try to structurally support the crack with SS nails running across the crack: Everbilt 2 in. Stainless Finishing Nails (40-Pack) 802574 - The Home Depot

I've had good luck with Waterweld in the past.

The plate is 850019 A. I found one an Amazon (which is half the 60CAD that the kid at the pool store told me it was!) but I couldn't get it until Wednesday. I'd like to do a vacuuming before that.
I don't know what the skimmer is, but the plate I have suited it well.
