Why would they put a sump pipe in the deck
? It could have been angled out just a bit and hit the grass. Or just installed a few more inches away.

As they left it, it's a trip hazzard and an eyesore. There's no need to be above grade and a round skimmer like cover would fit flush with the deck.

I agree. When we close escrow, I don’t know what Iam going to do with it. I could cut it deck flush now- but I don’t know if I’ll be able to find a cover that will fit smog and not cause more of a trip hazard lol

Cut it slightly below the concrete and find a metal disc that fits perfectly with a snug fit.

The toestubber9000 will suck worse than what you have. Lol.

There are a slew of drain covers that fit 6 or 8 inch pipe (actual measurements depending)
