Water Useage

It seems that weekly we are having to a an inch or two of water into the pool. Our backyard is not shielded from the wind so I think that accounts for some of the water loss but even in cooler weather we are still seeing loss.

I know each pool offers its own set of variables but generally, Do others experience the same or is this unusual?

1/8"-1/4" evaporation per day is pretty normal. Little more if extra windy, very low humidity or sunny.

An inch or so a week is in parameters around these parts.
