I'm curious about plumbing in gunite pools. Pool came with house, has a separate line to a jet for vac (which I moved to main pump since I use an electric robot). If I dug down behind that jet, is there usually enough pipe to splice a water feature into? Or is it normally inside the gunite? I may just do a jet connected feature, but looking at my options.

T-,

It really depends on the installer and where the pipe is in relation to the equipment pad.

An old Vacuum line would most likely make a beeline for the equipment pad, but it would also most likely be in a trench with other pool pipes,

If you look at some of our construction pics, you will get a pretty good idea how many different ways there are.

Thanks,

Jim R.

I see pictures like this and figure, no way. Probably not worth digging things up.
