I set up my new pool (Intex 26x52 with Doheny 24”, 1.5 hp sand filter) up a couple of weeks ago and I’m wanting to install my Hayward skimmer on it. My skimmer was used on the pool and I bought it used with skimmer already attached. Do I need to wait a certain amount of time for liner to “stretch” before installing skimmer? I am over all these plastic hoses and my old equipment not fitting. I want to hard plumb my pool but not until I install the skimmer.

I know how to install the skimmer.
