VS Pump Replacement Advice for SCE Rebate

Thanks EVChargeGuy. I have an external timer also the 2600 should work. Do you know what kind of union I'd need to buy to work with 2" pipe? Are those 1.5" ports some sort of standard thread like 1.5" FIP or MPT?

I can confirm that SCE does not require that the pump be professionally installed to get the rebate. They will send someone over to inspect the pump to make sure it is the correct pump for the rebate, but that is all.

I haven’t been able to confirm tread size via the manual but I assume it a standard thread.

I’m waiting for the spring thaw for final install and I maybe able to reuse the unions from the 15+ year old SuperPump it’s replacing, its suppose to be a direct replacement. Can’t confirm until late April/May ;-)

I bought the pump from PoolSupply4less.com which is close to you in Simi. Call them and confirm size and check out their pricing. When I bought the pump last month they were the cheapest delivered I could find.
