6500 gallon intex. Sandfilter.

FC - 3 goal is 7
CC -0
CYA- 50
TA 60
PH 7.2
Water crystal clear and feels great. I use TFPM and goals

Overall very happy with the chemistry in my pool other than the ph keeps staying at 7.2 despite many times ive used borax to bring it to 7.5.
Possibly due to rain.

My question is do you think that 4ppm of chlorine usage every day with little to no bather load is normal? Seems high to me... i thought i read somewhere that 2ppm per day no load is optimal.

CC test totally clear, test it every day. Pool is clean and clear.

No overnight FC loss either. I'm wondering if maybe I should increase stabilizer up to 60ppm...maybe the sun is just burning too much of it away? Thoughts?

Or is 4ppm normal?

Leave the pH alone. If it is stable at 7.2, it is because your TA is 60. If your pH is in the 7s, it is just fine.
