When you say your pump was running all night - was that with SWG or without? In order to the OCLT, you will need to have the SWG off. When I test my water, I just make sure water is circulating about 30 minutes before and certainly at least that or more if I do add anything to the pool. How old is your IC40? Regarding your question about if the IC-60 will fit, I am not sure if the dimensions are any different but the folks at INYOPOOLS.COM would be able to assist and if you become a Gold Supporter, you can get a good discount if you decide to purchase one.

Raise FC up to 8 or 10 this evening and do an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test. Let's see if there is something growing in the pool.

I will be back home today and will raise it and when pump shuts off I will test the FC. Then test agin in the morn after pump runs for 30 minutes. I will report back.

Last night FC was 9-9.5, this morning without pump running FC is 8-8.5. I am waiting on pump to run for 30 minutes and going to check FC again. Looks as if I dropped .5-1 overnight.

Just checked FC at 8.5 after pump ran for 30 minutes. CYA is around 60, think it's ok to bump CYA on up?

I don't think a .5-1 FC drop is indicative of algae bloom is it?
