Trouble with Intelliflo going offline with IAqualink

For the past few months every other day or so my pump stops communicating with the Iaqualink which will keep it from running. It'll wake back up randomly. Sometimes it'll be hours but always within a day or two with no intervention.

If I manually set a speed on the pump to make it run, it'll still resume the jandy commands when it comes back up. Any insights?
 
What model IntelliFlo pump?

There are quirks with AquaLink controlling IntelliFlo pumps other then the simple 011018 or 011028 models.
 
What does the pump display show when the pump is working properly versus when it stops communicating?
 
I would check the RS-485 data cable connections at both ends. Look carefully at the connector at the pump for corrosion. Maybe put on a contact cleaner or enhancer.

Maybe replace the cable.
