Trichlor vs. Cal hypo... anyone use Cal Hypo?

@Pcmaker , approximately how much trichlor (or is it dichlor) are you using a day? About how much and how often are you dumping water? I would think that it would be positive to control the amount of water exchange for the expense and the trouble.

It's an IPS m920 controller
It uses about 4 tabs of trichlor a day, but it varies widely, depending on the number of bathers and the sun. I dump about 1/6 of the pool water, so maybe 8k gallons of water taken out and an equal number of fresh water added in.
