To those with oval above ground pools

Frogabog,
They will pay for an 18 ft and installation. But since we do the installation and a bigger pool really isn't that much more the cost isn't going to be a problem.

Hmmmm, we never thought about a deep end :) Can you do that for a round pool?

Christine

Update... What was left of the pool is gone. Just sand and a dugout circle remain.
No more pool. We have decided not to put another above ground pool up.
We are going to wait until our finances will allow and put in a vinyl inground pool, but it is going to take about 2 years to do so.

Why deprive yourself of a pool for 2 years? Have you thought about an intex? You can get an 18x52 cheap. You have the hardest part of the AGP done, site prep. 2 years might turn to 3, why go without a pool?

Just looked at walmart.com. Blue intex 15x48 is $229, free site to store shipping. Target.com 16x48 Ultraframe $399 - 18x52 Ultraframe $499 both with $50 shipping.

The blue blob may not be much to look at but it will give you relief in a brutal summer.
