Lion grills....NICE!!! Lion makes some very nice products. As soon as my current gas grill craps out, I’m going with a Lion.

Hes got me beat hands down in his neck of the woods I dont play with many concrete pools the vermiculite is as close as I usually get. Plus he knows his stuff a man with experience knows a thing or two or three...
I didn't have much time today but I got a little more done. I think I'll pour the counter Wednesday.

B I notice you put the steel into the short wall but I did not see the same thing on the long wall. Why not? (I know you did it right! You know how much I like to learn so the question is to help me learn.)

That side of the counter has a 16" unsupported overhang which is actually longer than the supported side of the counter in that area. I was worried the weight and a wild child hanging on the edge would create problems...better to be safe when you're dealing with several hundreds of pounds of floating concrete
That counter will probably weigh around 1600 pounds
This is a similar situation - the legs are just temporary supports that get removed to have a cantilever all the way around
