The Liquidator installation is done..

If I remember correctly there were some users who used the LQ with above ground pools and could not get an adequate suction and to correct it they ended up closing off some of the flow on the supply side to increase the suction. It also can make a big difference on where you put the supply and the suction hoses. I have had good luck putting the suction hose directly into the pump drain plug. I have the supply hose installed in the PVC of my return line coming out of the filter before it splits to the separate returns.

The LQ is a rock solid option if you do not want to use pucks or an SWG.

I've been using the LQ for over 5 years with a VS pump and haven't encountered any problems. The sediment in the bottom of the LQ needed to be cleaned out once every two years, and it's not hard.
