Test strip help needed until TF-100 arrives

FS-100 kit +ph meter is on its way.
Need some early advice using test strips.
6 days ago noticed some green algae on walls (hadnt seen the service guy in over a week, fired him)
Added 4 3" tabs to the 2 floaties, brushed walls

Used tested 2 days ago for these results, any suggestions till the kit comes in?

Pool pump/bottom vac with wall fountains runs 8 hrs a day.

While waiting on the test kit, add 5 ppm FC worth of liquid chlorine to the pool each evening with the pump running.

If you wish to test pH, get a cheap two way kit at Walmart. That should give you a pH reading as long as FC is not high (which will be unlikely.).

5ppm, my pool is about 15,000 gals, how would i calculate that?

96 ounces or 3 quarts 10% liquid chlorine. Available at Walmart, some pool stores.
