TH (total hardness) is usually a test strip result and not very reliable. CH (calcium hardness) is a drops based test and far more dependable.

You first report a CH result and then a TH result....how are you testing?

Not using test strips. This is a drop indicator test (titration)

Thanks Guys. The water is crystal clear now. My chlorine levels are holding each night and the bottom is vaccumed out. There seems to be no algae present.
