Hey guys, 4 year pool owner here! However, I have been using the pristine blue system, which is what I was talked into by the pool store when getting my pool. I honestly haven’t been happy with it and I’m looking to switch to chlorine. We opened yesterday and added about half new water. Copper is .5 maybe a little less. My test kit is on the way but for now I have the strips! Getting a reading of FC low, 5.5-6 Ph, TA is low and cya about zero. Where do I start? Water is clear but with a little cloudiness. Help 😭

Welcome to TFP!!! :swim:

Add 3ppm of liquid chlorine a day until your test kit arrives. Don't add anything else.

Download pool math...it will help you figure out how much to add. Link-->PoolMath

Exercise for you: 3ppm is 42 ounces of 10% liquid chlorine IN YOUR POOL. Use pool math to duplicate this result.
