I am considering switching from Dichlor to Bromine sine I would like the convenience of using a floater. Do I need to have a fresh fill to do this or can I simply switch?
No you do not need to drain and refill but when you start using bromine you need to add sodium bromide for start up. The chlorine that is in there now will burn off
