I would also add that the Intex salt system that I had came up an error that some people on the internet have encountered. I took back the faulty unit and returned it for another new one. The second one came up with the same error...I cut my losses there and am currently running a non-swg pool with a salt level of 3,000ppm.

Why did you selection that system?
SC-36 Ran about 60 - 75 percent of the pump run time. The SC-48 Reduced it to 27 percent on power level 1
(92 degree water temp).
Works EXTREMELY Well with my Prozone PZ7-2HO Ozonator! (Absolutely zero calcium deposits on cell!!!)

How did you previously sanitize your pool? I started with an AutoPilot... but with well water got tired of cleaning the cell... switched to inline chlorinator... but got tired of adding baking soda... got city water!!!! installed intellichlor IC20.. it couldnt make enough chlorine to fill a tea cup... switched back to AutoPilot with Ozone... ahhhhh life is good! simple ph adjustment once a month!
