I live in New England in the U.S. and was wondering if a steel wall pool will rust. The pool place says it will not but I can't see how it will not.Any information about this topic would be great.Thank You.
above ground or inground? Ingrounds are galvanized steel and wont rust. My uncle has an AG he has had for 20+ years in Mass and its not rusted at all (galvinized steel walls).
Another data point: I have a 40 year old, inground vinyl pool with galvanized steel walls. I haven't been able to inspect all the wall area, but the parts I have seen look nearly new. No sign of rust. I'm in the Philadelphia area and the climate is not that different from New England.
