Hi there not quite sure how I found this forum, but we are in the planning stages of a fiberglass pool and would love to learn as much as possible before the real fun starts, it is quite overwhelming all the options!

i have had a fiberglass pool in pittsburgh for 12 years. They are a great choice. It still looks great. If you would happen to go with fiber glass pool it is important to note that the length and width dimensions are from outside edge to edge so a 14 foot wide fiberglass pool only has about 12 feet 9 inchs of real width. If you have the room go with a 16 foot wide pool which I believe is as wide as fiberglass pools come.
