You do not need a clarifier. You need chlorine and filter time. Your chlorine is too low and more than likely why you are stalling the process. Plus you did not post a CYA result.
Read the section in Pool School about Chlorine and CYA. It will will explain why your chlorine is too low and why everyone is asking about your CYA. The two go hand in hand, the higher the CYA level the higher the chlorine level you need to maintain. The old "keep your chlorine at 1 - 3 ppm and you will be fine" is usually wrong unless you know your CYA level is correct for that amount of chlorine.Casey said:You do not need a clarifier.
