2021 - I took my cover off to a crystal clear pool in June.
2022 - my cover fell off in a crystal clear pool at the beginning of March. Oh boy.
Life gets in the way and my pool has set without chemicals for months. Went from clear to a little tint of green then to swamp within a few days of noticing the tint of green.
Life has been busy so finally got it opened today and wanted to share a few pics..
Friday night I dumped in 2 gallons of 10% and brushed it real well. Woke up Saturday to a few blue areas.. brushed again and a few hours later we have a blue cloudy pool.
Worked Saturday and Sunday re-plumbing and re-electricing the pool and equipment. Added a heater and moved the pad all around. Last step is running the gas out to the heater. Anyway wanted to share some pics. Wish me luck on my SLAM - I will post some pics.
First pic is pre treatment. Second pic is adjusting chemicals after getting pump running. Third is everything plumbed in - May not be the prettiest but no leaks!
