Staining on entire liner...want advice before I supershock the pool

Your TF-100 should have come with instructions for the FC and CC tests that tell us what we need to know about chlorine when combined with CYA test. For chlorine to do its job, we have to make sure that pH is also in range, but as explained, the test is only valid when FC test is 10 or less. TA test helps you predict pH changes, and can be altered if needed. CH must be monitored because excessively high CH can lead to calcium scaling on the liner, a totally avoidable problem. Each test in the TF-100 serves a purpose and investing the time to learning each is a fantastic use of your time.
