Trying to pick a spa vacuum that is rechargeable and does not need to be hooked into my skimmer. I need something that can pick up sand from the bottom of my jacuzzi. Not looking for anything extra fancy or pricey (less than $150). Just needs to suck up sand.
I saw this one on Amazon. Any guidance from anyone who has one?

I have been looking for a spa cleaner for years and have yet to find one that didn't look like junk.

The Aqua Broom barely has a 50% Outstanding rating on Amazon. considering how much the Amazon reviews are gamed that is not a vote of confidence for me to spend my money on it. If you give it a try let us know how it works and if it lasts.

I have the intex cordless vac - it works fine for the price I mostly use it in the pool for around my steps.
My mom used to use a little siphon stick w/ little hose on it that u shake to get the siphon started. Simple but it worked.
Brush all the dirt to one spot & suck it out - easy peasy.

Thank you both. I went with this simple item which will hopefully work ok. The area doesn’t get super filthy and the sand usually is just sitting in the center once I have had it on for a while so I’m gonna see how this goes. It’s sorta like the siphon item above. Here’s a link. I’ll let everyone know how it works out.

It looks neat! - i think I considered that one before buying the intex thing - i Need something that will fit down in the little hole of my wedding cake steps so I don’t have to move them so often.

Update: I received the spa vacuum and it works for my minimal spa cleaning needs. My method is that I turn on my filter “spa” to “spa” for about 15 minutes and then I turn it off or set it to lower speed and then go in with this little vacuum since everything is collected right in the center floor and just suck it (in my case usually sand or occasional leaf) out. Takes like 5 minutes. The way it works is like a giant straw where you hold the top closed and release thumb when you are hovering over the debris you want to get.

If your spa gets a lot of stuff in it, this is likely cumbersome, but if you have small time needs I recommend it.

NICE find !!!! I've been busy and missed this until now. When I saw '5 D batteries' on the first one you posted, I cringed.

Child toys taught me that any device that requires D batteries will chew through them, and they are rather spendy, even buying in bulk. I avoid Dcell powered items at all costs.
