I have a blown bulb in my spa and having a heck of a time finding a replacement. It is an American Products 100w 120v fixture. What is the designator for this bulb like a PAR or R number?

The PAR number is the diameter of the bulb in eights. PAR16 = 2 inches.

I think it is a PAR20.

Max of 100W 120V PAR20. It has a standard Edison base.

Actually I believe it is an R20 not a PAR20. Like a lava lamp bulb.

What I am trying to determine is if your socket is corroded. You have corrosion on the outside of the fixture where the wire comes through.

I am looking to see if that old fixture is a safety issue.

Ah. Na. It is completely clean inside.

Well. I still haven’t found a replacement. Randomly purchased an R20 bulb at Home Depot today. The bulb was too long.
